Here is the club’s COVID-19 Guidance for events. If you are planning on attending a Nonsuch event please review this both when thinking of attending an event and closer to the time of the event.

Mountain Dulcimer

The English name “dulcimer” derives from the Latin dulcis (sweet) and the Greek melos (song), but refers to two very different instruments. The Mountain or Appalachian Dulcimer looks like an elongated fiddle but has frets like a guitar – and is played horizontally across the knees. The Hammered Dulcimer has metal strings stretched across a trapezoid shaped frame and is usually played with small hammers.
