The Sandbridge Hammered Dulcimer retreat is a biannual event at Sandbridge in Virginia, USA. It consists of several week long workshops in the Spring and Autumn and a 2 day Master Classes in the Spring. The first Spring week is a “relaxed” week for first timers to Sandbridge.

The tutor is well known performer and teacher Ken Kolodner, assisted by Mary Lynn Michal..

This coming Autumn event will be held both in person and via zoom, giving UK and European players a chance to attend.

There are 3 Autumn are listed below. You get classes all day, which translates to afternoon and evening UK time. They have a “coffeehouse” or jam session in the evening which translates to the midnight hours, so probably needs to be missed. They are on EDT so are 5 hours behind us.

• Sep 26th – Oct 2nd 2021: Intermediate/Advanced
• October 3rd – 9th 2021: Advanced only.
