Zoom clearly has its limits for playing music with others but it does offer us a few benefits. As someone said, “it’s all we’ve got at present”. We can meet each other without leaving our house and agreed that the 4th Tuesday from 3-5pm was suitable for most of us. Twice monthly in the winter.
We can play our instruments, sing and even dance to the music played by the person or couple who is un-muted.

The tunes that we played and prepared at Edgworth in October last year were agreed as a base list for us to draw on. Jenny and Phil have already sent us the dots this evening for some great new tunes. We will send the music to Hilary Davies, Pete Bromwich and Geoff Reeve-Black so they can add these to relevant Nonsuch tune lists.

Chris welcomes all comers, from south, north and in between. The sessions so far have been very successful, with plenty of good music and company. Chris Fitt is the inimitable MC for the sessions – bound to be fun!
