Join us for our 30th Annual Weekend, this year in person at The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire!
We are offering a full 3-day weekend program (Friday pm – Monday) of workshops for both hammered and mountain dulcimer players of all levels, a Tutor Concert on Friday evening, our famous Nonsuch Open-Stage concert on Saturday evening, regular and slow sessions with leaders, and time for some informal dancing. There are also a 2-day weekend (Fri pm– Sunday) and non-residential options.

Our fabulous tutor line-up includes well-known performers and teachers from around the world: Patti Amelotte (USA) & Dizzi Dulcimer Cree (UK) on hammered dulcimer (HD), with Jeff Furman (USA) and Geoff Black & Duncan Gibbs (UK) featured on mountain dulcimer (MD). We welcome Kerensa Wright (UK) and Pieter Blondelle (Belgium) to teach HD classes especially for beginners, with Tony Gillam (UK) and other tutors to lead MD beginner workshops.
Our new venue, The Hayes, is a well-equipped conference centre geared to providing for groups, with all bedrooms en-suite and lovely common areas, including a well-priced bar & dining hall. It is set in beautiful grounds in Derbyshire, with a historic Victorian main building, and easy access to the M1. We also offer the option to stay Monday night and travel home on Tuesday. Other B&Bs and camping are available in the area.
