The Sweet Sounds and Singing Strings of Dedicated Dulcimers
For anyone who enjoys the melodious sound of dulcimers – both hammered and mountain style – Roving Folk, on Phoenix Radio in Halifax, West Yorkshire – in association with the Nonsuch Dulcimer Club – brings you the:
Nonsuch Newsletter Audio Supplement, Spring 2024 No 16
Our aim is to give the Newsletter an added audio dimension. The latest edition of Dulcimer Junction continues to support the music and information printed in the Nonsuch Newsletter – and includes contributions from Nonsuch members – and links to a number of articles within the newsletter.
Dulcimer Junction No.16 is devoted entirely to the memory and appreciation, of long-time Nonsuch member Chris Coe – who passed away after a long illness on the 20th December 2023. Chris has given so much to the world with her music, her teaching and her boundless love of people – she touched many of our lives – and there are countless people singing, dancing and playing an instrument now because of her influence.
If you are a regular listener to Ken’s monthly ‘Roving Folk’ radio show you may already have heard part of this tribute – but Ken thought it would also be appropriate to include an edited version here – specially for the members of Nonsuch.
The Nonsuch Newsletter goes out to our members once a quarter, you can join here!
