We are excited to offer our Spring workshop and concert days with with three of our 2026 Annual Weekend tutors – Carmen Amrein, Heidi Muller and Ruth Smith.
Over two consecutive weekends the days offer a chance to take classes online with a tutor who is coming in person this October to our annual weekend. If you can’t attend in October or just want a sneak preview of their classes and approach, this event gives you the perfect opportunity.
The cost is £20 per workshop and there are two levels of workshop on offer.
In addition there are two evening concerts, open to all, whether or not you attend the workshops. We hope to see you there!

The South Western Meets at the Nova Scotia, Bristol have gone Virtual! These are now open to all and are designed to be especially mountain dulcimer friendly. Other instruments are also welcome.

This is our fifth year in the big city at the Copthorne Hotel on Newcastle’s happening quayside. As before there are plenty of chances to socialise and jam as well as venture out into this historic city!
We continue to develop the event and this year are delighted to welcome acclaimed folksinger, teacher and EFDSS Gold Badge holder Sandra Kerr as our North East guest speaker on Thursday, and multi instrumentalist and singer Tania Opland to run a range of hammered dulcimer workshops as part of the Wednesday programme.
As before we include a wide range of workshops, and plenty of opportunities to jam and socialise meanwhile we continue with that unique North Eastern flavour, this time with a bit of Irish thrown into the mix. Start learning Geordie now – gan canny!
