Nonsuch Online Events
We started the Mountain Dulcimer Beginner Sessions with a group of complete beginners, but they aren’t complete beginners any more. These session are for them, and for you if you have been playing for a while but find it difficult to keep up with the speed of other sessions. Sessions are recorded and the recordings made available to those who attended the session or are on the mailing list.

The South Western Meets at the Nova Scotia, Bristol have gone Virtual! These are now open to all and are designed to be especially mountain dulcimer friendly. Other instruments are also welcome.

During these sessions, we have a chance to chat, and also to play music with one person leading and the others joining in (but only hearing themselves and the leader). Generally on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

On-line session for Hammered dulcimer beginners. These sessions, which take place over Zoom, run for about an hour and include a mixture of technique and tunes played slowly. The sessions are recorded and the recordings are available to the group both for people who couldn’t make it in person and as a reference for those who did.
Sessions run roughly every 2 months.
