In this latest edition – Dulcimer Junction No.21 – we have a definite northern flavour – recordings from Nonsuch Spring Fling 2025 – a visit to the Bridge Hotel Folk Club in Newcastle – a track from a recently reviewed CD – music from the US tutors for our 2025 Annual Gathering at Malvern – and Jez Lowe talking about his books, and playing his Stefan Sobell dulcimer.

In this latest edition – Dulcimer Junction No.18 – we have a lovely tune played by members of the Southern Nonsuch Meet – an insight into the background of mountain dulcimer maestro Geoff Reeve Black – a first hearing of an unusual track from the new album from Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage – a look at how dulcimers have been used to accompany other instruments and singing – and advice on playing in a ceilidh band.

Dulcimer Junction No.17 contains an interesting mix of dulcimer music – used in a variety of settings. There are some tracks from the archives – we visit John Pearse’s Music Room in 1970 – and have a short sample piece of a stage performance which featured Chris Coe – brought to our attention recently, by Vic Gammon.
