A Free Online Course for Club Members to assist them in Helping or Teaching Others to Play a Dulcimer (Both Hammered & Mountain)
Have you ever helped anyone or wanted to help someone play their dulcimer? Have you ever taught or thought about teaching someone to play a dulcimer? Are you interested in how people learn to play a musical instrument? If so, then this online course presented by Steve Eulberg and hosted by Nonsuch Dulcimer Club might be for you.
Steve Eulberg is an experienced and popular teacher and performer of both hammered and mountain dulcimer. He also has a master’s degree in music education. Steve agreed to run a course on teaching the dulcimer for Nonsuch, which took place over zoom in July 2024. The course was recorded and is composed of three 90 minute sessions.
The first session is a generic session applicable to both instruments, the second session focuses on teaching the mountain dulcimer and the third session focuses on teaching hammered dulcimer.
The recorded sessions are available to club members after the event indefinitely. As well as the recordings there are lots of additional resources to help you. If you are a member and would like access to this course the information is provided here: Pass the Music On Course Information for Nonsuch Members. If you are not a member and would like to access this and other member only content, you can join here, from only £10 a year!
